Golden Boy Promotions President and former world champion Oscar dela Hoya denied rumors that he is thinking of making a comeback to the boxing ring.

Dela Hoya told BoxingScene.com that rumors of a possible ring comeback was not true.

"No, no return, but I'm in good shape," dela Hoya said.

It was dela Hoya's former trainer, Floyd Mayweather Sr., who said in some interviews that "Golden Boy" was interested in making a comeback.

Dela Hoya retired in 2009. His last match was an 8-round technical knockout loss to Manny Pacquiao.
